"Drama"

Good morning! As I am sitting here, I am pondering on things that have happened in my life recently. When I surface think of them...I think "DRAMA"! This is what the world would love for me to focus on...right!? Definitely!! This in tale would become a "serious narrative" in my life, if I would allow it! I do not like drama at all!!! Nor dose our Father! Galatians 5:15-17, 1Thessalonians 4:11-12 and Titus 3:1-3 and Proverbs 20:19. There are a lot more!!

As God is changing me, my mind does not want to conform to His changes! I am sure you know what I am talking about. You are reading this therefore you do not want to "surface think" either! Good for you!! A great habit I now have is that I look to see what my Father says about the situation. He says we are to love everyone, first being Him then everyone else...including the "DRAMA" people:) OUCH!! Not only to love, we also are to pray for them!! Another OUCH!! I say all this with humorous love, I do mean what I say but!, the sting isn't there as much anymore!

As you and I are being changed by God, we must remember His Word that is written in Romans 8:7 "because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so;". The Word "law" in this Scripture is relating to the New Covenant and the Mosaic law and Old Covenant Scriptures. The Law in the Old Covenant reminds us just how much we NEED JESUS! He fulfilled the Law for us! In the New Covenant Jesus names the "foremost commandments" in Mark 12:29-31!!

As you and I go about our day and stumble upon a little "drama", we must remember if we are living and breathing...then God has given this day to us to do His work! He has already supplied all that we will need! This "drama" will only become something in our life IF WE ALLOW IT TO!!! Lets not allow our "feeling" to get involved. That will get us in trouble every time! Replace it with His Word...ahhhh success :)
