I'm Waiting....?

Greetings everyone! I am in the process of waiting on God for much direction as of now. So, I thought I would share with you to possibly encourage you as you also at some point will be doing the same…if not already are.

We as a people, especially in these times!! Do not wait well, or will simply leave it for another time and most likely will never pick it up again, therefore a missed blessing again! As soon as I started to seek my LORD out wouldn’t you know it? All my senses started to fidget! My mind was also fidgeting! Can you believe it? You probably can, you most likely have also gone through this as well.

I do so want direction from Him! I need it!! I went searching in Scripture to find the Treasure I needed to proclaim and stand on for myself so that I may remind Him of His promise to me. He says in Isaiah 43:26 “Put me in remembrance; let us argue our case together, State your cause, that you may be proved right.” So, you see we are to remind our LORD and plead our case to Him.

My case I have is that I need direction, His Word says He orders our steps, In Psalm 37:23-24 “The steps of a man are established by the LORD; And He delights in his way. 24) When he falls, he shall not be hurled headlong; Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.” You see I am correct in reminding Him of His Word because it is His direction I am needing. I just need to clean out my ears 🙂

God says in His Word we are to put Him first, in all that we do. To get to know God is just like any friend you may have, you have to spend time with that person or you will never get to know that person. In this case God is this very person. Spending time with Him is the only way to discover His ways, even if it means waiting and waiting and more waiting! When we choose not to do any of what I just mentioned we are setting ourselves up to trouble! I choose to get to know my God! In James 1:2-4 “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3) knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4) And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” This is for me a test to see if I will allow my 5 senses to detour my attention to my LORD.

My definite desire is in Psalm 25:4-5 “Make me know Thy ways, O LORD; Teach me Thy paths. 5) Lead me in Thy truth and teach me, For Thou art the God of my salvation; For Thee I wait all the day.” You see the one thing we as His children are to do is live by faith, it does not matter what our circumstances are, money, health, social rankings or skills! In Romans 1:17 “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”

This is what I want more than anything is to do what my Creator wants me to do NO MATTER WHAT! This is difficult because today people do not believe this, people will say “that was the past, not now!” Friends, the God of the time of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Noah IS THE GOD OF NOW! The devil wants all of us so busy and living on our 5 senses for a self pleasing life so we will miss God!

I hope that you will also wait on our LORD and allow Him to show you that in which He can only show you and discover the path He has created only for you!
